Just type the link into Google (.edu for .gov for more links)

site:.edu inurl:blog “comment” -”you must be logged in” -”posting closed” -”comment closed” “your keywords”

This saves a massive amount of time in sorting through the blogs that let you have ‘link juice’ back to your site.

It’s manual but it gets really great .edu and .gov links.

I use this to find the .gov/.edu blogs everyone I find I pull up the source page and do a ctrl + F and type in “nofollow” it quickly tells me if the other people who have commented are getting the back link benefits.

To be totally contrary I still post comments on all I find anyway as these blogs are normally high traffic and you will get some visitors.

It talks about how to get traffic to your site. this fiel though it’s a little bit old, but most tactics work to this day.

One thing to notice: where it says Overture Keyword Tool please replace it with Google Keyword Tool, as Overture Keyword Tool died long ago.
